Job Description

Ninjas in Pyjamas is one of the most iconic brands within esports, founded almost 20 years ago. We recently merged with Chinese organization ESV5, making us one of the very largest global esports operations in the entire world under the umbrella of NIP Group. At NIP, we field world-class teams in CSGO, Rainbow Six, FIFA, Valorant, and soon League of Legends. For the Ninjas in Pyjamas side of the business, we are looking for an experienced and strategic Director of Marketing and Digital, to lead our marketing team and to elevate the fan and gaming experience across the whole organization. You’ll be tasked with making NIP one of the most innovative and successful within fan acquisition, engagement and sponsorship activation, leading and scaling a team of talented marketeers, content creators, and social media experts.

The core responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage┬áthe execution and development of our overall marketing strategy
  • Own all digital assets, and make sure it ties into our overarching marketing strategy & brand guidelines
  • Lead the execution of all partnerships deliverables, collaborating closely with the sales, esports, and partnership departments
  • Significantly grow the brand following and engagement, and continue to implement initiatives that attracts new audience

Required qualifications
  • At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in marketing and running a marketing team
  • Proven marketing campaign experience
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage budgets
  • Experienced in┬áproject and stakeholder management
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills (fluent in oral and written English)
  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
  • Creative mindset and a natural interest in developing cutting edge brand activations
