What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will be a person who will use their experience to develop a marketing plan to drive brand awareness, user growth and engagement in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He/she will be a highly motivated individual who works comfortably and autonomously in a fast-paced environment. The focus will be to help and support the local sales force to achieve commercial success in their countries by executing marketing activities in line with market demands and Corsair’s strategic direction. The Marketing Communications Manager will identify and negotiate activities with partners – channel and industry partners – to drive growth in the markets. He/she will monitor trends and assess the performance of the diverse marketing activities in the different countries and he/she will ensure alignment with our global brand and marketing initiatives.

The MarCom Manger will team up with our central MarCom team,  local PR Manager, the local Social Media team to implement the multi-channel marketing activities. To be successful as a candidate the person will have demonstrated in his/her past jobs the ability to manage priorities and projects, with the right mix of organisational and communication skills.


  • Propose, develop and manage the execution of DACH marketing strategies and campaigns – local and central driven activities
  • Develop local marketing plans in alignment with the regional plan
  • Deliver and track the execution of marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate local promotional plans in collaboration with the central MarCom team – including exhibitions, marketing collateral, sales tools, digital content.
  • Work with the central MarCom team, local PR and social media teams on the execution of campaigns to ensure that they are in line with Corsair’s strategy
  • Develop regional marketing activities in line with Global- and European communication strategies to drive revenue and improve brand awareness
  • Collaborate with the DACH sales team to support their channel partners and retail activities
  • Develop with the local sales team and partner marketing teams quarterly and monthly marketing plans
  • Visit with local sales account managers all their relevant partners to develop and execute channel activities – travel to the partner location will be needed
  • Propose new local marketing ideas to enhance the sales results and their success with their partners/retailers
  • Monitor and report on the results of marketing activities
  • Monitor and report on the DACH competitor landscape, producing reports and insights, including analysis of how company investments can be differentiated and more successful from competitors

Key requirements:

  • Good understanding of the gaming markets in this region
  • Experience in developing marketing plans
  • Knowledge of running brand and performance campaigns in various digital and analog channels
  • Strong analytical skills and the capacity to take data-informed decisions
  • Hands-on attitude and highly self-driven
  • Familiar with localisation of marketing assets – including proofreading and content adaptations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strategic thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Efficient organizational, prioritisation and creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or marketing communications
  • Experience in the Gaming Industry or Home Electronics, IT, or Technology sector
  • Proficiency in production of marketing materials and tools
  • Robust knowledge and experience of retail marketing and sales channel in DACH

Education and qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree, preferably in marketing or communications
  • Spoken and written German at a native level
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English – English is the company language
  • Very good level in using MS office – mainly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
