SPORTFIVE is seeking a Social Media Strategist – Gaming based in its US Headquarters in New York City. The Social Media Strategist will work closely with SPORTFIVE’s growing roster of gaming content creators to help maximize their digital brand presence. The position will be responsible for looking after their day-to-day content creation needs across social media.

Reporting to the Digital Manager – Gaming, this role will be focused on actively growing and engaging digital audiences across different social and digital media platforms.


  • Contribute to creative and storytelling efforts across the creators’ different channels
  • Develop and support the content planning process while streamlining content creation processes
  • Support the day-to-day content creation needs of SPORTFIVE’s growing roster of creators
  • Understand and utilize different social media tools and platforms, including but not limited to content generation and management, social listening, platform management
  • Work cross functionally across creative, commercial, design and CRM to ensure social media strategy is aligned with overall marketing initiatives
  • Execute and optimize business performance reporting including but not limited to weekly recap, benchmarking, performance monitoring, campaign evaluation, best practices, etc.
  • Contribute to marketing and creative brainstorming sessions





  • 2+ years of social media, influencer marketing, and content creation experience, preferably with an agency or creator
  • Deep and intricate knowledge/expertise of the gaming industry, with a focus on tools, relationships with creators, influencers, industry leaders, and best practices
  • Proven experience scaling a social media brand and driving performance
  • Expertise in a wide range of social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and TikTok, with proficiencies in media, measurement, and publishing tools
  • Experience with data storytelling, social listening, and brand performance tracking
  • Experience working with social management and listening platforms
  • Knowledge of photo and video editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere
  • Exceptional verbal and written presentation and communication skills
  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Experience in developing branded content and activation concepts
  • Understanding of media buying mechanism on social media and video sharing platforms
  • Proactive, creative and team working spirit
